Python Job: Cisco Engineer - Palo Alto - Cisco ACI-SDA

Cisco Engineer vacancy requiring profound Palo Alto, Cisco ACI or SDA knowledge for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Providing 2 and 3 Level support for Incident Management and assisting with network troubleshooting
• Implementing networking and infrastructure application technologies to ensure optimal secure environment availability
• Being responsible for the maintenance of network infrastructures and their dependencies, through the application of industry best practices with an emphasis on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proficiency with network devices like Cisco ACI/SDA, F5 and Palo Alto firewalls
• Exposure to working in a data centre environment and troubleshooting
• Thorough knowledge of fibre, DWDM systems and monitoring tools, preferably CheckMK
• Experience with scripting languages and common automation frameworks like Python and Ansible
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
